Types of patents

Invention Patent (IP)
Refers to a new product or manufacturing process that is unknown to the public. This patent ensures the exclusivity and protection of your invention.
Utility Model (UM)
Applies to already known objects of practical use, such as hand tools or household utensils. In this case, modifications or new forms are presented capable of improving the object's function.
At London Trademarks, we are ready to assist you throughout the entire patent registration process.
Additionally, there is the Certificate of Addition of Invention, which protects improvements made to a subject matter for which a patent application has already been filed or granted. The improvement must be new and have the same inventive concept as the original invention application.
